Lafayette began his entertainment career in 2013. Initially aspiring to be in front of the camera, the intrigue of storytelling culminated from the richly diverse interpersonal relationships he encountered during his time in real estate. This passion led him to transition into writing and producing, eventually founding his Golden Hughes imprint in 2018 with the mission of showcasing stories from the most underrepresented voices.
